Xie Xie tackles the Issues

Sighted today in downtown Portland, on the back of a Volkswagen: "Biodiesel: No War Required." I love it. It's great to see more people using alternative fuel, including driving in hybrids and alternate fueled vehicles, as well as biking and walking powered by the alternate fuel sources of banana-flavored Twinkies and caffe mochas! I'm not trying to be divisive -- The point is, if you're using a renewable resource you grow in cornfields, you're not vulnerable to the possibility that you will have to protect access to that resource by spending billions in taxes you can't afford while you send your young'uns off to foreign lands to shoot people (some of them innocent bystanders) and come home (if you're lucky!) with the possibility of a missing limb, a bad booze habit, or PTSD. If you can avoid all that by better funding alternative fuel sources and making them more accessible, why the heck wouldn't you support that? 'Nuff said.
